Southcroft is an Edwardian family house; an example of the architecture which makes Eastbourne one of England’s most
attractive towns. The accommodation is of a high standard with
tastefully furnished rooms and an atmosphere which is quiet and
restful to enable guests to relax and, we trust, to feel at home.
The hotel has three double, two twin and one single room. All
are fully en-suite with central heating, colour television/teletext,
radio alarm, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
Evening meals are available every day by prior
arrangement. Southcroft has a residential licence.
For the comfort and safety of our guests,
Southcroft is ‘non-smoking’.
The location of Southcroft Hotel is ideal for appreciating the best of Eastbourne. The sea front is two minutes away and from the top of the road a short walk takes you to the band stand, the pier, the Western lawns, the carpet gardens - in short - all that makes for a typical English seaside holiday. A walk in the other direction leads you to the Hollywell Tea Rooms and the open spaces of the South Downs, Beachy Head and the Cuckmere Valley.
The main theatres, ‘The Devonshire’ and the ‘Congress’ provide a
wide range of art and entertainment throughout the year and
both theatres are minutes from the hotel.
Thousands of tennis enthusiasts come each year to Eastbourne
for the pre-Wimbledon Ladies tennis in June and other events. The
setting is Devonshire Park, again only minutes from Southcroft.
